SwitchFlo is an app based automatic water level controller made in India. It watches your overhead tank and sump through level sensors, starts the pump when the tank is low, and stops it the moment it's full, preventing both dry-run damage and overflow. The SwitchFlo app on your phone shows live tank levels and lets you control the motor from anywhere.

Yes. In Auto mode SwitchFlo runs the motor by itself: it starts when the tank runs low and stops when the tank is full. From the free SwitchFlo app on Android or iPhone you can also start or stop the motor yourself, check your tank and sump levels, and get an alert when a tank fills or the pump is saved from running dry.

No. SwitchFlo is made in Hyderabad and sold across India, with free shipping nationwide, including Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. Orders are dispatched in 1 to 2 business days and usually reach major cities in 3 to 5. Any qualified electrician can install it at your existing electrical panel in 1 to 2 hours. Only the optional installation by our own team is limited to Hyderabad. Wherever you are, questions go straight to our team on phone or WhatsApp.

No. Filling the tank from its levels, stopping at full, dry-run protection and the safety rules all run on the controller itself, so they keep working with no internet. WiFi adds the app: live levels, remote motor control and alerts on your phone. Time-of-day schedules also need WiFi, because the controller syncs its clock over it, so a unit that is never online runs on tank levels only.

All SwitchFlo products come with a 1-year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects. If a unit develops a manufacturing defect within that period, we replace it; shipping charges for the replacement may apply. You can extend coverage with a Care Package, +1 year for ₹2,500 or +2 years for ₹4,500, added at the time of purchase. Warranty does not cover physical damage, incorrect installation, or damage from mains supply outside the device's rated input range. SwitchFlo itself protects your motor by blocking it when voltage leaves the safe range (195–260V AC by default, adjustable from 150–300V in the app).

SwitchFlo works with single-phase and three-phase pumps, which covers the vast majority of domestic pumps in India. A qualified electrician installs it at your existing electrical panel, and it works with the pump you already have, with no pump replacement needed. If you are not sure about yours, send a photo of the pump's nameplate on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you order.

No. Your SwitchFlo comes with app access and cloud connectivity included, with no recurring subscription fee for normal residential use. Live tank levels, remote motor control, alerts and your full event history are part of the product. The app itself is a free download on iOS and Android.

Yes. Every tank SwitchFlo watches gets four sensors (empty, low, high and full), and the wire bundle that connects all of them from your tanks down to the controller is included free for buildings up to 2 floors. SwitchFlo Ultra manages three tanks, so it ships with 12 sensors; Sump+ manages two tanks, so 8; Ground+ manages one tank, so 4. If your building is taller than 2 floors, contact us before you order and we will size the wire run for you.

The SwitchFlo app is a free download for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The controller needs a WiFi connection for the app to reach it.

Yes. Everything between your controller, the cloud and the app is encrypted, and every controller has to prove its identity before it can connect.
