Starting the motor from the app

1:01 Published

This is the everyday case: the tank is low, nobody wants to walk to the panel, so the motor goes on from the phone instead. The clip runs start to stop on a real installation, not a mockup.

The level shown in the app comes from sealed magnetic float sensors in the tank. The float moves with the water, but no electrical contact meets it, so nothing corrodes over time. The controller itself is wired in at the panel, which means there is no battery to charge and no radio pairing to re-do later.

What happens in this clip

  1. 1 The app opens on the current tank level, read live from the sensors.
  2. 2 The motor starts on a single tap, with the controller switching the load at the panel.
  3. 3 The level climbs in the app while the motor runs.
  4. 4 The motor stops at full on its own, without anyone watching it.
